Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter on WPDE-TV which was located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then she became an anchor in the morning and a reporter on WCBD TV. O'Dell's reportage in Charleston on police leniency towards DUI cases resulted in the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these cases. The Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell an award for the Best Report of the year award for all South Carolina media. Her work in Charleston was the reason she joined as co-anchor and investigative reporter and NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV. Before she joined Access Hollywood she was a weekday co-anchor as well as NBC's weekend co-anchor. In addition to her current job as the lead anchor on Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also a contributor to NBC News' Today and as well for Dateline NBC. She's covered The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted several Pre-ShowArrivals Shows to The Emmys And The Golden Globes. In addition, she hosted the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant.
